my wife and i often discuss where we would want to live if the US were to break up into smaller countries - and the NorthWest is always at the top of our list.
of course the middle-south - the Confederate States of America- will be quick to organize a military presence based on hyper-nationalism-religious-fundamentalism - and grits - and become a regional pain in the ass.
