Is that five dunks a day? Or five sessions? How many dunks in a session? <--- purposely absurd questions to highlight that even water-boarding is a limited hangout. "Oh goodness how they dunked people under water!" people say. Well what about all those electric shocks to their genitals and other unspeakable psychological tortures?
Torture is not to get information. It is to terrorize a population, because people are always willing to die for their freedom. Torture, however, is a fate worse than death. Turn insurgents into zombies and release them back into the population. Then see how many people are willing to continue the fight.
