Was 9/11 an outside job? Inside job as disinfo?
It was proposed to me by someone I met at Ground Zero this Saturday that 9/11 was not an inside job, perpetrated by Cheney and the rest, but an outside job, perpetrated by Western European interests.
He then went on to suggest that the 'inside job' meme was set up as an internal dialectical response to the establishment, meant to control the debate, and direct the blame toward the current administration, while those truly responsible remain hidden from view.
I thought that he was offering some pretty good 'big picture' analysis, while he also had an entirely resigned attitude toward the movement, suggesting that nearly everyone involved had been duped by the system. Basically, he thinks the whole movement is presently gatekeeping. Wow!
I suggested that he contribute, but he had no interest. I asked him what he was doing to promote his unique understanding, and he had no answer.
Any thoughts?
