Movement Drama - Distraction - Frustration
Let's try to settle down. Gossip and drama can be all-consuming. Lets keep our eyes on the prize. What more could our enemies hope for than a distracted, frustrated, unfocused opponent. They are doing their jobs well. That doesn't mean that it's hopeless, just that we've got to keep our wits and start getting a bit more discerning.
Not everyone who is "nice" or "supportive" or "dedicated to the movement" is actually on our side. Do not be consumed by paranoia, but do practice vigilant skepticism. As part of a Truth movement, we are nice people, we believe in honesty and compassion, we give second chances, we sometimes take people at their word, and we can be naive. We are open about what we believe. All of this can be used against us by coldhearted, manipulative people. So, don't forget that we live in a system controlled by the forces of deception, in some ways, we have to accept that and learn to counteract it. Perhaps one day, when the truth shines down, we will be able to let our guard down and trust people like we should.
