I have no idea if anyone listens to these when I post them, but I listened to this and it was so excellent that I had to post it. It is one of the best historical overviews of US and German fascism between WW1 and WW2. She discusses Herbert Hoover and the rearmament of Germany, many of the Nazi importation programs after WW2 and the Battle of the Bulge and how many significant Nazi and US historical figures are connected to it and a lot more.

Damn, same problem here and I did want to listen to this while doing the dishes today - Mae Brussell is always very interesting.

It is in mp3 format and I can definitely get it to play with Safari or Firefox and Quicktime. I think installing Quicktime would take care of it.

It just comes up in a realplayer window on the page and doesn't load in either safari or firefox...

For Safari on the Mac:
Go to System Preferences and Quicktime. Select the tab on the right titled Advanced and click the MIME button. Make sure MP3 and MP3 Audio are checked. It sounds like an issue with Real Player being the default player. In Safari, you can check what plays MP3 under Help and Installed Plug-ins. I also have Flip4Mac installed, but I am unsure if that effects anything.
I will try it on a PC later today.

These are all Mae in top form. You need to type in the number and wait about 30 seconds and then you can download the files. I will try to post more favorites as I keep listening.

What's with the Bormann Nazi UFOs in Antarctica stuff?! Can't anyone resist? She's got important things to say about Paperclip and the rise of the national security state.
I find her engaging but the breathless style and sprawl of presentation into detail without pausing for overview limits her audience. But such passion!
At any rate, R.I.P.
It's good to hear her recall the real history of U.S. establishment aiding and allying with fascism, the reminders about Hoover and the rest, as opposed to the usual mythology about U.S. establishment being secretly communist.

I should find one or two of the lectures where she gives more of an exposition. I have a bunch of DVDs that I bought that I listen to constantly so I have become familiar with Mae's style.
The Bormann stuff, I dunno. Its weird because Mae or John Judge make a really great case when you hear them talk about the dental records and whether Bormann and Hitler survived. On the other hand, John Loftus raises the issue of why Paul Manning would thank Allen Dulles at the beginning of his book "Martin Bormann: Nazi in Exhile." Loftus says that this was Dulles sending Manning on the wrong path. I have never heard Dave Emory, another Bormann survived believer, or Mae ever raise this issue. Since there is only so much time in the day and there are other issues that interest me more, I am agnostic on this one.
With Antarctica I do not know either, but I will try to dig up the shows on both of these issues.
In regards to the Nazi UFOs, the evidence is much better. In the Project Paperclip documents, it is revealed that the US found saucer-like hovercraft on German air bases after WW2 that could travel at tremendous speeds and make right-angle turns. Mae, Judge and Emory all theorized that this technology was brought here and used for covert reconnaissance. The alien UFOs is a cover story for the small percentage of the population who saw something and would not let it go. Many of the promoters of UFOs as alien craft, such as John Lear, William Cooper and Kenneth Arnold have military intelligence backgrounds.

Bormann - maybe.
But Nazi UFOs in Antarctica? (I met a bunch of NS types who believed there were secret German bases there once, and that they would be stopping the Iraq invasion. Guess it didn't work.)
In her view this an American/Pentagon program or independent Nazi?
I'm just not too hot on this angle, heading into "what might be possibles" stitched together into coherence, but so speculative. Where's serious research on it?

This is Mae's first show on Antarctica. I have only listened to a bit of it and none of the other Antarctica show (I have three others).
