(An all too predictable) Message from Ron

In the presidential race and the congressional race, I need your support, as always. And I have plans to continue fighting for our ideas in politics and education that I will share with you when I can, for I will need you at my side. In the meantime, onward and upward! The neocons, the warmongers, the socialists, the advocates of inflation will be hearing much from you and me. http://ronpaul2008.typepad.com/ron_paul_2008/2008/...

So, as many of us expected he offers no direction whatsoever for his supporters. No organization to join. No plan of action to take back the country, independent of a presidential campaign. All I see is a dead end.

Maybe he's got a plan up his sleeve that he will share with us "when he can," but I'm not holding my breath. Will all that support be converted into a sustained interest in political action? Not likely. That's the problem with following authority rather than thinking for yourself. When your guide wanders off you are instantly lost.

Ron Paul represents an old tradition in this country that has become illogical and irrelevant. No longer can we propose to maintain the "prosperity" of this country, and at the same time retreat from the power and influence we manifest all over the world. No longer to do the majority think everyone is better off when we rely upon private industry to place the welfare of people over profit. And no one loyal to the republican party is going to be pulling off any kind of revolution accept by election fraud or force.

So 9/11 truth movement, what did we get out of this? Anyone? ... <crickets> ...

I thing those in the movement who paired their advocacy of a non-partisan issue with their support for a very partisan political candidate need to seriously reconsider their strategic approach.
